1. Purpose
These Terms of Use, hereinafter referred to as the “Terms,” define the terms and conditions governing the use of the VideoScout Basketball mobile application, hereinafter referred to as the “Application,” published by VideoScout Basketball.
The Application allows basketball coaches and users to record games on video, tag game actions in real time, generate detailed statistics, and share videos and reports.
2. Access to the Service
The Application is available free of charge to any user with internet access and a compatible device (iOS). Advanced features are available through a premium subscription.
The publisher reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Application at any time, with or without prior notice.
3. Registration
The use of certain features of the Application requires the creation of a user account. The user agrees to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for any activity carried out through their account.
4. Intellectual Property
The Application, its general structure, texts, images, sounds, know-how, and all other elements composing it are the exclusive property of VideoScout Basketball.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, or adaptation of all or part of the elements of the Application, regardless of the means or process used, is prohibited without the prior written authorization of the publisher.
The user retains ownership of the content they create, upload, or share through the Application, including videos, statistics, and reports. By using the Application, the user grants VideoScout Basketball a limited license to host, process, and display such content as part of the service provided.
5. Liability
The publisher uses all reasonable efforts to ensure quality access to the Application, but is under no obligation to guarantee such access.
The publisher may not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the Application, including loss of data, service interruption, or malfunction.
The user is solely responsible for their use of the Application and for the content they publish through it. The user agrees to comply with applicable laws, in particular those relating to image rights and the protection of personal data.
6. Personal Data
Personal data collected during the use of the Application is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Subscription and Payment
The Application offers a free version with limited features and a premium version available through a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s Terms and Conditions. Payments are handled directly by Apple.
The subscription renews automatically according to the selected billing period, monthly or yearly, unless cancelled by the user at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the user does not have a right of withdrawal for digital content provided immediately after subscription.
8. Termination
The user may delete their account and stop using the Application at any time. Account deletion results in the deletion of all associated data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
The publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete a user’s account in the event of a breach of these Terms, without prior notice and without compensation.
9. Changes to the Terms
The publisher reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial changes via the Application or by email.
Continued use of the Application after the Terms have been amended constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these Terms shall be submitted to the competent French courts.
